SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and own the end‑to‑end ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with ServiceNow best practices.
Define and maintain the data model, CMDB structure, CSDM alignment, and application architecture.
Translate business requirements into robust ServiceNow solutions across domains such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or custom apps.
Design and oversee integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and event‑based patterns.
Act as the technical authority for ServiceNow within the organization.
Influence roadmaps, investment decisions, and platform strategy based on business priorities.
COMPETENCIES
Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Architect within ServiceNow Platform Architecture and Data Model, able to design scalable, maintainable solutions that align with platform best practices and avoid technical debt.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer. Strong knowledge of secure, reliable integrations with external systems (e.g., monitoring tools, cloud platforms, identity systems)
3+ years of experience in Solution Design & Domain Knowledge (ITSM, OMT / ITOM / HRSD / CSM / SecOps). Expertise in platform governance, including role‑based access control, data security, performance optimization, and upgrade strategy
3+ years of experience in Governance, Performance & Security Design.
Able to break down technical items into simple, easy-to-understand concepts and tailor the language for the right audience.
Complementary Competencies
ServiceNow Certifications in the Application Architect Stream.
Understanding of migration frameworks and best practices for transitioning from legacy platforms (e.g., Maximo or other ITSM/enterprise systems) to ServiceNow (SNOW), including data migration, integration considerations, and platform transformation strategy
Strong knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide Script).
Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
