Job description:
- You will work on the automated creation and deployment of Ubuntu servers, learning tools like Packer and GitLab CI/CD.
- You will extend and maintain Ansible playbooks for the standardized configuration of Linux systems and gain an understanding of Infrastructure as Code.
- You will support monitoring and logging (e.g., SentinelOne Checkmk, NinjaOne) and gain insights into modern operations and support processes.
- You will learn how to securely handle secrets, including using the 1Password Vault.
- Depending on your interests and focus, you will contribute to further DevOps or Kubernetes-related automations and support the team in daily operations.
Requirements:
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
- You are interested in DevOps, Linux, and automation and want to develop your skills in this area.
- Prior experience with Linux, Git, or scripting is advantageous but not required – your curiosity and willingness to learn are more important.
- You work independently and in a structured manner and are eager to learn about new topics.
- You enjoy working in a team, communicate openly with colleagues, and value collaboration as equals.
- You have good written and spoken German and English skills.
